Do you offer more than one tour time for your tours?


FQ Food Walking Tour: As each tour fills to capacity the next time slot opens: 10:30am; 11:00 am; 11:45 am; 2:00 pm FQ Hist Tour: 8:30 am and 10:30 am FQ Food & Cocktail Tour: 4:00 pm Funky Freret Food & Cocktail: 4:30 pm




Where and when does my tour meet?


FQ Food Walking Tour: Meet inside Roux Royale (600 Royal Street) 15 minutes prior to tour time FQ Hist Tour: Meet at the gates directly in front of St. Louis Cathedral, (50 yards from 701 Chartres Street) near Jackson Square 5 minutes prior to tour time FQ Food & Cocktail Tour: Meet under the Ursuline Arch of the French Market, on the corner of N. Peters & Ursuline Street (2 French Market Place) 15 minutes prior to tour time Funky Freret Food & Cocktail: Meet at Dat Dog on Freret (5030 Freret St.) 5 minutes prior to tour time




Do tours depart on time?


All tours depart on time; however, if a confirmed party has not arrived, we will wait up to 5 minutes before proceeding on tour.




Do you provide parking?


No. There are public parking lots scattered all over the French Quarter, metered street parking and private lots and hotel parking; if you park on the street pay special attention to the street signs. Please note, we do not validate parking for any hotel or otherwise.




Do you accommodate allergies/dietary restrictions?


Yes, while we try to accommodate most dietary restrictions, although not all. We make substitutions to the best of our ability. Please make sure to notify with your booking reservation and confirm with your guide when you meet in person. This is a team effort. With allergies, and because every dietary restriction is individually specific, we ask that you also manage at each food stop.




Can you give me directions; how do I get to my tour?


Please ask your hotel concierge for a city map and directions; or input the address of your meeting location from above into your smartphone or GPS. If you need more information, please call us!




Are children allowed, on your website it says only 18 and older?


Children are absolutely allowed! We encourage guests of all ages are to attend our tours. The only age restrictions would be for any of our Cocktail Tours, where guests must be 21 or over with a valid ID to participate.




Are children charged the same as adults?


There is a discounted rate for children and students on our history tours. We do not offer a discount on our food tours, as each guest receives the same portion size at each stop, regardless of age.




Can I pay for the tour when I get there if I do not want to pay online?


You may, although we encourage guests to make a reservation to ensure we have the information needed for our vendors. If you are able, and if you wish to pay in cash, please call us to make a reservation and to discuss your payment options. We encourage guests to make reservations, pay online or via phone for their convenience.




Do you have tours when it rains?


Yes we do! Our tours operate rain or shine, unless there is a significant weather event in our area. We encourage guests to dress for the weather, and bring an umbrella and water bottle, as needed. We are safety first for all.




Do you take groups as part of a regular tour and may we pay individually?


Yes we do and yes you may. Always best to give our office a heads up or indicate in your notes at the time of booking that you are travelling with others to insure you all stay together if possible.




Do you take private groups?


If you would like a private tour, please feel free to book online. You may our office for minimums at 855.353.6634 or more information.




Must we confirm our tour after we have made our reservation?


We ask that everyone confirm within 48 hours of your tour time.

HEADS UP: ALL OUR TOURS ARE WALKING TOURS (UNLESS PRIVATELY / OTHERWISE ARRANGED) PLEASE NOTE REMEMBER WHEN BOOKING TO PROVIDE:

  • BEST CONTACT MOBILE PHONE NUMBER WHEN MAKING YOUR RESERVATION. We understand that some of our international guests may not have access to service unless using WIFI. As a courtesy, we may send out texts with any last-minute updates and courtesy confirmation and a mobile is most helpful.
